New Holland’s FR Cruiser self-propelled forage harvester is now available with the option of NIR On Board, which measures and monitors the crop’s moisture and nutrient parameters with +/-2% accuracy in real time. Developed by Dinamica Generale (DG), and initially available for the after-sales market (there are plans to offer it as a factory-fitted option in the future), calibration needs to be updated every year, which can be done by DG remotely through an internet connection. The data collected by the system can be transferred to a PC with a USB key or transmitted through wi-fi or GPS. The new option is available with a full service package, with after-sales support provided by DG’s service partner network in more than 60 countries. Headquartered in Italy, with global offices in the USA, Ukraine, China and India, DG has more than two decades of experience developing and producing weighing systems, electronic solutions and NIR technology analysers for the farming market.
