Spotted by our German colleagues, the manufacturer reckons that the wide low-pressure tyres and low weight of the Cutaro SR1100 of just 8.5t allows it to knock down 11m of grass with the minimum footprint.
Powered by a 350hp 7.7t MTU engine, there is an active radiator cleaning system and the standard spec includes an air-suspended cab.
Disc speed (eight on the central mower and nine each side) is adjustable and the Cutaro folds to a transport width of 3.4m and has a top speed of 40km/hr.
Said to be suitable for working in both small and large fields and on slopes, more information will be available during the new mower’s first official outing at next week’s Swiss Agrama show.
