Suitable for use with eight, nine and 12-row harvesting units, the new HS topper is said to produce better suction when working in dry leaves, and the forced intake of the HR lifting unit improves beet flow in weed invested crops. The larger 850mm feeler wheels improves depth control in wet conditions, and the 7.5% larger cleaning area of the turbines improves crop flow.
The T5 comes with sensor-based maintenance of the hydraulic filters, which says Holmer, reduces oil consumption and unnecessarily frequent replacement of filter elements. Flagged up as the first beet harvester that can be filled with Panolin bio-hydraulic oil, engine oil change intervals have been extended from 500 to 750 hours.
