The first franchise for newly-created farm machinery company AgVantage UK is as a full-line dealer across central England for Dewulf potato and vegetable equipment.
Further strengthening the Belgian-manufacturer’s UK dealer network, the new dealer covers the area north of Niagri Engineering up to Scotland (with the exception of the Yorkshire and Humber area).
Operating from an office in March, Cambridgeshire, AgVantage was founded by former Agrifac UK managing director, Andy Carse. Commenting on securing his first franchise arrangement, he says the initial priority is to establish the new business. “Our aim is to meet the exacting needs of today’s progressive growers, and provide them with a high level of customer service.”
“Being able to represent established brands such as Dewulf and Miedema will give us a flying start in 2021. Demo machines are in production ready to come over to the UK, and I am confident that we will soon be able to add more global machinery brands to the portfolio.”
Mr Carse began his career as an apprentice service technician with Agrifac UK in 2003. After rising through the ranks, he was appointed managing director in 2010.
