Amazone is preparing to move out of its existing premises at Harworth to a new £multi-million facility at Orchard Farm, Auckley, near Doncaster. The move follows the sale of the Harworth site, and the new state-of-the-art building currently under construction at Orchard Farm will accommodate the entire organisation – from spare parts and whole goods distribution to the fertiliser testing laboratory, product support and sales and service division. The new UK HQ will also provide an extended training and showroom facility.
The remainder of the 12ha site at Orchard Farm, which was bought by Amazone in 2015, will continue as the company’s training, education and research centre. Providing there are no hiccups then the transfer of the business from Blyth Road should be completed sometime next year.
