Pichon and Samson slurry tankers can now be fitted with the new CDf and CDx disc incorporators and IDs disc injector.
Working to a depth of 5.0cm, the 8.0m wide IDs disc injector combines conical and cutting discs to apply slurry in the centre of the furrow. The technique is said to avoid splashing.
Available in 4.5m and 6.0m versions and designed to work on maize or other stubbles, the CDf disc Incorporator is fitted with two rows of discs. The first row opens the soil, after which slurry is applied and covered by the second row.
The CDf and IDs are available with both Pichon and Samson branding. The last of the trio of new products, the CDx disc incorporator, is only available from Samson.
Designed for use on heavy soils with large volumes of surface residue, the 8.0m machine is equipped with two rows of discs. The rear lateral star disc leaves the surface ready for drilling.
