Electrically adjustable and heated rear-view mirrors are now available as an option for the 1000 Vario series tractors.
Controlled via the terminal, the telescopic mirrors are designed to give drivers a good view even the tractor is connected to the largest attachments. Position lights are also attached to the mirror casing for better detection in road traffic.
Protection against tractor or fuel theft and unauthorised engine access comes in the form of the new optional encoded key for the door, ignition, bonnet and diesel tank.
The 1000 Vario range now comes with an optional infotainment package and a 4.1 sound system including subwoofers. The infotainment package includes a hands-free speaking system with eight microphones installed in the sunroof.
Controlled on the terminal, it is possible to receive both AM/FM and digital channels and play from external audio sources via Bluetooth, USB or AUX. Reception is via two antennas set at 90 degrees into the windows.
Unveiled in 2014, just over half of the roughly 2,000 1000 Vario series tractors sold so far are used outside Europe. Already delivered to 40 different countries, about 300 units work in Germany.
