There is no change to the three-wheeled concept, but after removing the slurry tank from its Vervaet trike Dutch contractor Koning converted the rest of the machine into a lightweight self-propelled umbilical system. The result sees the vehicle’s gross weight of just 16.5t equally divided over all three wheels, allowing the contractor to get onto the land early in the season without causing damage. More details and pictures of the novel slurry machine, which on a good day can achieve outputs of 1,000 to 1,200cu.m, are published inside this month’s issue (October) of Profi International.
