New Holland will use next month’s Farm Progress show to launch two new tractors – the T 7.290 HD and T7.315 HD. Designed to bridge the gap between the current T7 and T8 line up, according to a report published on Farm Industry News, the two Heavy Duty tractors are aimed at users seeking more power but yet in a compact format. We understand the wheel base of the two newcomers is 20cm longer than current T7 models. A heavier-duty front axle is also part of the standard package, while below the new engine hood the 6.7litre FPT engine is the same as that used in current T7 models. There is nothing official, but we understand the two HD models will be on display at Agritechnica, with availability sometime in 2016. The largest outdoor farm machinery event in North America, the Farm Progress show takes place at Decatur, in Illinois, from September 1-3.  By Steven Vale
