Argo Tractors has reached another milestone in its ambitious investment programme for distributor and dealer resources with the opening of a new headquarters for the Argo France branch near Lyon, south-west France.

Completed in less than 12 months from when the foundation stone was laid, the modern facility provides a training centre for dealers and customers, offices, and separate showrooms for Landini and McCormick products.

Described as a key pillar for the Italian industrial group towards boosting and developing its presence on the French market, the investment builds on Argo’s programme of digital developments and commercial tools to support sales and after-sales services.

Strategically positioned at Vaulx-Milieu, alongside the important A43 motorway, the new facility shares a similar blueprint with the branch opened two years ago, at Villamarciel, in Spain.

“The French market is, and will continue to be, a key aspect of Argo Tractors growth strategies,” commented Simeone Morra, corporate business director at Argo Tractors and president of Argo France.

“The investments made during the last two years and the projects launched aim to provide dealers with all the tools they need to work in the best possible conditions, reducing operating costs, increasing profitability and boosting their image.”

With a consolidated turnover of €500 million, Argo Tractors has 1,800 employees, six factories, an annual production capacity of 22,000 tractors, eight commercial branches worldwide, 130 importers and 2,500 dealerships.
