The Southern Counties Farming & Machinery Show is a new free-to-attend farm machinery event. The one-day show will take place at the Newbury Showground on November 15, 2023.
Described as an unmissable event for all farmers and people involved in farming and farming-related activities across the south of England and beyond, it will showcase agricultural companies large and small under one roof.
Created by Kelsey Media, the publisher of the UK magazines South East Farmer, Agricultural Trader, Profi, Farm Machinery, Vineyard and Crop Production Magazine, the show is an addition to the company’s event portfolio after the recent West Country Farming & Machinery Show.
“After the incredible success of our sister show, the West Country Farming & Machinery Show, earlier this year, we knew we wanted to bring the same knowledge and authority of our brands with our marketing reach and expertise to put together this new event for the southern counties,” said publisher, Steve Kendall. ”We’re looking forward to celebrating and supporting farming, innovation and enterprise, and facilitating all aspects of the farming industry to come together at the Newbury Showground in November.”
Sponsors confirmed include Virkar (with Samagri being the sole UK importer of the Spanish made Virkar direct drills) and exhibitors already signed up include Haynes Agriculture, Kuhn, McVeigh Parker and plenty more besides.
There will also be a number of seminars throughout the day on the main topics relevant to farmers and farming plus a live farm machinery auction, courtesy of Symonds & Sampson. In addition to the show’s core farming and machinery content, there’ll also be construction and outdoor power equipment for visitors to see.
