The working width on Fella’s Juras 12545 four-rotor rake is hydraulically adjustable from 10m to 12.50m. Replacing the TS 4000 and TS 12555 Pro, the newcomer, which is also available as the Juras 12545 Pro, is equipped with the maintenance-free TS 5 rake head. Sequential control is standard as is a display showing the raking height for each rotor. Aimed at professional users, the ‘Pro’ spec includes load sensing hydraulics and an Isobus control system. The latter allows all four rotors to be operated independently of each other via the terminal in the tractor cab. Also, in addition to hydraulic adjustment of the raking height, all of the rotors can be individually lifted. Isobus technology also allows the equipment to be automatically folded into the transport position, and as well as enabling the use of hydraulic safety devices for transport, the system provides for five headland lifting heights. Most of the functions can be operated using the control terminal as well as the throttle, or via the optional joystick. The Juras 12545 Pro is equipped as standard with a six-wheel chassis for the two rear rotors, and can optionally be fitted with a set of LED work lights. Finally, the Juras 4000 is flagged up as a cost-effective entry model for dairy farms keen to rake up their own grass without lots of gadgets. The technical equipment includes the TS 4 rake head, hydraulic working width adjustment and mechanical four-stage swath width adjustment.
