The Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation has forced the organisers of the French SIMA show to postpone the next event, which was planned to take place at the Villepinte exhibition complex in Paris from November 8-12, 2020.

Anyone that has made travel plans and booked a hotel for the November show will have to make other arrangements because the new dates of the postponed show are the more traditional ones from February 21 to 25, 2021.

The move follows requests from a number of large farm machinery manufacturers whose production and distribution activities have been hit hard by the fallout of the Corona situation.

The good news for the farm machinery community is that the next SIMA no longer clashes with this November’s Italian EIMA show. However, the organisers of the popular French farm machinery event stress that the postponement does not affect the long-term ambition to position SIMA in the autumn of even numbered years.

The next event in 2022, which incidentally will be the 100th anniversary of the show, will be held as initially planned in November 2022 (same month as EIMA).
