Duncan Russell is the new chief executive of the National Association of Agricultural Contractors (NAAC). Responsible for driving the organisation forward and ensuring that it takes a proactive role in sensitive political negotiations, Duncan will also support contracting members and continue to raise the Association’s profile.   He has a wealth of agricultural experience after 17 years running the National Sprayer Test Scheme, as part of his previous role as services manager at The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA). NAAC chairman Martins Hays says Duncan will be an asset, with lots of industry contacts and grass roots experience. “We are confident he will be capable of representing our interests at the highest possible level.” Working alongside NAAC technical consultant Jill Hewitt and membership officer Louise Cox, the new chief executive will be working a three day week from the NAAC offices at Easton Lodge. He can be contacted on Duncan.russell@naac.co.uk or 01780 784631. Alternatively come along and meet staff on the NAAC stand at LAMMA.
