Mzuri Ltd says the new design of spring-loaded pivoting discs fitted to the latest versions of its Pro-Til Select 6T (6m) strip-till drill and trailed Pro-Til 4T (4m), helps to improve straw clearance. On display at next month’s Cereals Event, both models also feature a new electro-hydraulic drill management system, which offers full ISOBUS compatibility, variable seed rate integration and monitoring, and improved hydraulic efficiencies. New options include fertiliser placement behind the leading tine. For farmers with a blackgrass or slug problem, the company will also be showcasing its Rezult straw rake. Incorporating five rows of 710mm tines with optional leading discs to chop surface residue, the Rezult is described as an ideal tool for disturbing slug populations and chitting weed seeds.
