Miedema launches new belt conveyors

The 80cm-wide trough belt on Miedema’s new generation of the MC (Miedema Conveyor) series, single and duo belt conveyors, has the capacity to handle over 130tph at a belt speed of 40m/min. With a discharge height in excess of 1.9m, the conveyors can be used for various purposes, such as filling both the MB 33 and MB 55 box fillers. In addition, all MC machines are fitted as standard with Start-Control (central starting and stopping of all connected machines). Single belt MC models are available in lengths of 6.5, 8.5 and 10m, and the duo belts in lengths of 13, 17 and 20m. All versions can be delivered with either two fixed belt speeds or a variable speed belt; both options using drum motors. The centrally located control cabinet allowing operation from both sides, the drawbar can be attached in two positions, allowing the transport conveyor to be moved with a forklift. Duo belt options include electric/hydraulic control of extension/retraction, positioning of the machine andsteering of the wheels on the discharge side, and an integrated flattening set transforms the trough belt to a flat belt, allowing the conveyors to be used for product inspection. The new MC can also be fitted with overhead lighting and a weighing system, which Miedema claims is accurate to 99%.
