McConnel will use next month’s Cereals Event to add the premium arable rollers previously sold by Twose of Tiverton to its growing portfolio of arable kit. Re-branded as the Consolidator and finished in McConnel’s familiar colours, the trio of roller ranges comprises three, five and seven-gang rollers with working widths from 6.4m to 18.4m. Four different roller configurations are available with a choice of 22” (558mm) and 24” (610mm) Cambridge rings with Cambridge breakers available. Optional equipment includes spring-mounted levelling boards to break down clods, and two rows of 8mm spring tines to spread straw and surface residue to encourage volunteers to germinate. Consolidator model numbers will be unveiled at the show.
