Aimed at small to medium-sized farms, the new three-model range of five straw-walker machines deliver more power and come with additional features. There is a new top model; the 260hp Activa 7344.

This is joined by the 226hp 7343, and 185hp 7342. The Stage V block in the smallest model is a four-cylinder 4.9-litre version. The grunt in the other two comes from a six-cylinder 7.4-litre engine.

Main in-cab changes include the new seat-mounted armrest, air-suspended seat and electronic control of the three-speed hydrostatic transmission. Setting of the independent front and rear concave adjustment is also electrically operated from the cab.

Other updates include being able to quickly change the concaves when moving between different crops, and the modular grain pan comes from Massey’s larger combines. Fitted with removable plastic sections, it is said to be easier to clean when working in difficult conditions.

The 7342 is available only with the Freeflow header (4.8m-6.0m), while customers of the top two models can choose from Freeflow (4.8m-7.6m) or Powerflow (5.5m-6.2m) headers.

Grain tank capacity is 5,200 litres on the 7342 and 7343. The 6,500-litre option for the 7343 is standard on the 7344. Unloading speed on the smallest model and 7343 is 72lit/sec. The 7343 is available with the optional 85lit/sec version, which is standard on the flagship.

All three combines can be specified with the Multi Crop Separator, which is said to increase overall separation by up to 20%. Other options include electric sieve adjustment, returns monitor, cool box and rear camera.
