Available in six variants with cabs or platforms, and in widths from 1.0-1.7m, the five-model MF3 (75-120hp) speciality series is available with a new 30F/15R 40km/hr Eco gearbox option.
Replacing the previous 3700 series, transmission choices in the new line up range from a 12F/12R fully mechanical box up to a 24F/24R with PowerShuttle and Speedshift in the 75hp model.
The base transmission in the four larger 85hp, 95hp, 105hp and 120hp tractors is a 15F/15R version with mechanical shuttle (additional mechanical splitter increases the ratios to 30F/15R).
The addition of the electro-hydraulically operated Speedshift, gear splitter and PowerShuttle is available for operators seeking more control and comfort. The sensitivity of shuttle response can be adjusted.
Providing five gears in three ranges, changes with the new 30F/15R 40km/hr Eco box are controlled using a lever on the right-hand console. A new brake-to-neutral option, which simultaneously operates the clutch as soon as the brake pedal is depressed, is said to be particularly useful for loader work.
Power to these Stage V compliant tractors comes from two four-pot FPT blocks; a 3.4-litre version in the 75hp model and a 3.6-litre unit in the four larger tractors. Emissions in the four larger models is taken care of by SCR and a DOC and the exhaust is mounted under the bonnet.
Standard fuel tank capacity is 75 litres, with a larger 100-litre option. Inside the cab, moving the battery on 75hp+ models to a new position in front of the radiator has created more internal space. There is also more headroom, a higher seat position and an updated air-suspended seat.
The dashboard is also new. Located between the analogue rpm dial on the left and fuel and temperature gauges on the right, the display screen can be set to show a wide range of operating information, such as PTO speed, fuel consumption, coolant and oil temperatures as well as engine speed memories.
Available with Essential or Efficient specification packages, Essential models are equipped with a mechanical transmission, 93l/min dual pump hydraulic system and mechanical linkage control (electric linkage control optional).
The Efficient package includes a 120l/min triple-pump hydraulic system, electric linkage control, PowerShuttle and Speedshift transmission as well as a multi-function joystick and four electro-hydraulic spool valves. Additional options include Cat IV cab filtration, joystick control for rear linkage offset and levelling as well as a front linkage/pto and front loader package.
