New Holland is to source a straightforward and compact range of fixed chamber round balers from Italian farm machinery manufacturer Mascar. The move follows the signing of a European agreement between the two companies, and the new range of balers currently in development will be unveiled in preview form at the Italian EIMA farm machinery show, in November. New Holland brand president Carlo Lambro says this partnership addresses the need to meet rising demand for quality, productivity and reliability combined with reduced operating costs and ease of use. Mascar also makes bale wrappers, mowers, drills and planters, but the agreement is limited to round balers.
