A 2016 Case IH 580 Quadtrac with only 1,331 hours on the clock is the highest value lot at what Cheffins reckons will be one of the largest on-farm sales of secondhand machinery in the UK this year.
Comprising of over 375 lots ranging from late registration tractors right through to tyres, spares and workshop tools, the sale, which is on behalf of Rainthorpe Farms in Lincolnshire, will take place at West Hall Farm in Welton on November 1.
Other tractors include a 2015 AGCO Challenger; a 2013 Case 160 Puma; a 2011 Deutz Fahr 630 and a 2016 New Holland combine harvester. There is also a JCB loader, Hitachi excavator, a self-propelled sprayer and three vehicles including a 2012 Volkswagen Amarok and a 2012 Polaris Ranger.
Other machinery on offer includes drills, rolls, fertiliser spreaders, a hedge-cutter, bowsers, a press roll, ploughs, discs, power harrows, and cultivators.
Rainthorpe Farms which spans over 1,295ha, was offered to the open market for sale in January 2018 and was one of the largest commercial arable holdings to come to the market in the area for the past 20 years.
