The Chinese manufacturer’s first articulated tractor was spotted earlier this year. Now the tracked version has broken cover.
Called the P5002 SV, while previewed recently at the factory in China, very little is known about it, although the model number suggests a power of around 500hp.
If it does share any of its spec with the wheeled P9000 previewed back in March, then there could be two transmission options: a mechanical 18fx12r box and a CVT. Fuel tank capacity is rumoured to be around 1,000l.
Believed to be Lovol’s answer to the needs of large Chinese, Russian and Brazilian farms, the Chinese manufacturer is tight-lipped about future plans for the wheeled and tracked models.
