As well as working with a mechanical hoe, the GT Vario can also be used with a precision sugar beet or onion drill.
Weighing just 2.6t (excludes implement), the tool carrier is the result of Dutch Lemken dealer Hengers Agro teaming up with engineering firm Macon.
The 63hp four-pot motor comes from Kubota and the hydrostatically powered wheels reach a top speed of 15km/hr. Track width is manually adjustable in stages: 1.50m, 1.80m, 2.0m and 2.25m.
Maximum lift capacity is 1.6t and the narrow central frame allows the outer wings of a 6.0m implement to fold vertically for transport. The GT Vario’s frame can be manually lengthened by 60cm to provide enough space for a hoe with finger weeders.
Price is around €81,000 (excludes implement). There is no cab, but the options list includes a sunroof.
