Designed for intensive contractor or large scale farm use, the Premium Plus range of trailing shoe slurry injectors are 28% lighter than the previous design.
“This was achieved by incorporating novel design features and using high grade steel which is 68% stronger than standard steel of the same thickness,” says SlurryKat CEO and principle design engineer Garth Cairns of the Northern Ireland manufacturer. “We have integrated many laser cut; press formed components into the machine which further allow weight reduction without compromising on strength.”
A further development from the 2020 Duo dribble bar range, the Premium Plus is available in working widths of 7.5m, 10.0m and 12.0m. The land wheel incorporated on the 10.0m and 12.0m models ensure the shoes follow field contours.
An optional drag hose kit is available for umbilical use.
First seen on the company’s Farmline range, the shoe and spring arrangement on the Premium Plus models features a cast hard wearing tip formed together with a neoprene nozzle, which claims the company, results in precise delivery of slurry to the ground.
Folding and unfolding is performed by a sequence system with the outer booms on the two wider models folding back underneath in a gullwing type arrangement. The beam oscillates and swings upwards, allowing the shoes to be flipped up for headland turns without lifting the entire machine.
Suitable for mounting to SlurryKat’s Premium Plus tanker range, a new optional drag hose kit is available for umbilical use. Premium Plus trailing shoe prices start from £11,995.00 plus VAT.
