After nine months of building works the production of all Lemken field sprayers has been consolidated at a single site in Haren, Germany. Costing around €12 million, the new facility, which is located close to the A31 motorway, comprises a manufacturing hall with about 10,000sq.m. of floor space, and administration building, a showroom hall, and four interconnected training rooms. Directly adjacent is a 2,000sq.m. outdoor exhibition area and a 1.3ha field for demonstration purposes. Currently home to 35 employees, the new facility will make the Primus and Albatros trailed sprayers, the Sirius mounted sprayer and the Gemini front tank. Production of the new Vega trailed sprayers is due to start early 2016.
