Visitors to this week’s Claydon open days will be able to see machinery demonstrations of the new Hybrid T6c (6.0m) trailed drill, 6.0m TerraStar and 7.5m straw harrow. The TerraBlade inter-row hoe will also be on show.
In addition to the usual factory tour, machine demonstrations and crop walks, the half-day sessions will feature talks by guest speakers. NIAB’s Dr Elizabeth Stockdale will give the main presentation on soil health. There will also be presentations about water infiltration and soil health in a pit, an update on grass weed trial results and the importance of tyre choice with regard to soil compaction and fuel consumption.
