Väderstad has added a larger hopper to its Spirit seed drills. On some models the capacity is up 25% from 3,900l to 5,000l.
The larger Spirit 600-900C combi models were already fitted with the larger hopper, while others had a 3,900l version. For the coming season all Spirits with a working width wider than 6.0m are equipped with a 5,000l version. So too is the 4.0m 400C.
“The 25% volume increase enables longer time between fillings to increase the field efficiency when drilling,” comments Björn Jeansson, commercial product manager for Väderstad seed drills.
To recap, the Spirit 4.0m 400C, 6.0m 600C InLine and 600S, 8.0m 800S (8.0m) and 900S (9.0m) are all equipped with the new 5,000l hopper.
