Combining the best features of mechanical and electronic models, Landini’s new Active models slot in between the 4cyl 6L Series tractors and full-spec Dynamic 4cyl 6 and 6cyl 7 Series models. The two 7 Series Active models comprise the 165hp 7-175 Roboshift with 10hp boost for pto and transport applications, and a new addition to the range – the 7-160 Roboshift (152hp rated speed/max 160hp). GB distributor AgriAgro UK says drivers of the Active versions of the 6/7 Series tractors get to work in a spacious four-post ‘Lounge’ cab with the option of both hydraulic cab and axle suspension. Manual spool valves are set at a convenient angle on the side console, and the 88lit/min gear pump flow on 4cyl 6 Series tractors can be changed for a higher capacity flow-on-demand pump delivering up to 123lit/min (standard on the 6cyl 7 Series Active models). In both cases, the main pump is complemented by a 44lit/min element dedicated to steering and ancillary controls. The Active’s standard transmission is the semi-powershift Roboshift, its six ranges and four powershift steps giving a 24×24 configuration (40×40 with creep option). Operated by buttons on a multi-function joystick located on a new side console, auto modes can be selected for hands-free speed control in field and road applications, and there is a four-speed (540 and 1000rpm) pto. The Active models will be on the Landini stand at LAMMA 2017.
