Fastrac Two, the world’s fastest tractor, and the latest Fastrac 4000 Series model, will both be on the JCB stand.
Powered by a 7.2-litre JCB Dieselmax six-cylinder diesel engine tuned to 1,016hp, Fastrac Two achieved a top speed of 153.771mph on its way to the new world speed record.
Surrounding the world’s fastest tractor will be the latest version of the Fastrac 4220. At the core of the 4000 Series upgrades are heavier-duty axles with 33% higher load ratings, larger hubs, bearings and external disc brakes, larger front axle differential with positive locking rather than limited slip for maximum traction and new ‘VF’ category tyre options.
Engine service intervals for oil and filters have been extended from 500 hours to 600 hours, and the new Auto-Stop feature automatically shuts down the engine after a period at idling speed. This can be disengaged in situations when this is inappropriate.
JCB will also show the new Loadall 532-60 Agri telehandler, which comes with a joystick switch-controlled four-speed powershift transmission and a 109hp JCB EcoMAX four-cylinder, 4.4-litre engine. Maximum lift capacity is 3.2t to full height of 6.20m and 1.4t at full forward reach.
Also on display will be the top-end 419S and 435S wheeled loaders, which have been given more power and torque, and the company’s latest compact rigid arm and telescopic wheeled loaders will be represented by the 2.2t lift TM220. This has a 74hp Stage V engine coupled to a two-speed 35km/hr transmission or a three-speed version providing increased tractive effort and a top speed of 40km/hr.
Its new Eco Drive Mode electronically reduces engine revs once the machine’s top speed has been reached, reducing fuel consumption by up to 16% on the road. The cab interior has also been upgraded as has the instrument display.
