Celebrating its first anniversary as the UK importer of Ovlac ploughs, Halse South West is now shipping in semi-mounted variants from the Spanish manufacturer. Previously the sole focus of Halse and former importer RECO has been on the smaller mounted models. The single-wheel semi-mounted Ovlac line is available with up to nine furrows and a choice of shear bolt, leaf spring or hydraulic protection. Hydraulic or manual vari-width is also an option. As for vital stats, measurements are quoted as 105cm for point-to-point clearance, and the buyer can pick from 72cm, 78cm or 90cm underbeam. At LAMMA Halse exhibited an eight-furrow example with shear bolt protection, hydraulic vari-width and in-furrow/on-land operation.
