Stewart Agricultural debuted the Pro series version of its Road King trailer at this week’s LAMMA. Main difference from the standard Road King, which itself was launched at last year’s event, is that the Pro gets a Hardox steel body. This, says Stewart, enables it to use thinner body material without sacrificing any strength — but gain payload at the same time. Another first, according to the firm, is that the pictured 20t Road King Pro Series 20-26S is the first trailer to be booted with Michelin’s CargoXBib 560/60 R22.5 HD tyres. The new HD is reckoned to feature better cleaning properties and also have a kinder, more rounded profile for its shoulder. Price for a full-spec 20-26S, complete with three axles and air suspension, is around £32,000.
