A team from Kverneland Sweden has set a new record baling and wrapping 1,587 bales in 24 hours.
The equivalent of 66.125 bales per hour, or 54 seconds per bale, the record was set at a farm in Sweden, where 105ha of heavy grass was prepared ahead of the 240hp Fendt tractor and Kverneland FastBale Premium.
The record was accomplished under practical conditions, and travel time between fields, machine maintenance, and net/film replacement, were all factored into the total baling time.
