Kuhn Farm Machinery’s TT trailed seed drill tank gives arable farmers the option of increased hopper capacity. Available in two sizes – the 3,500-litre capacity TT 3500, and the TT 6500 (6,500-litres), both feature a stainless steel volumetric metering unit and are equipped with a standard Cat III rear attachment for connecting to a Kuhn seeding bar. Suitable for use with a folding BSDR coulter bar or with a Kuhn precision seeding drill bar, working widths are from 6 to 9m. The TT 3500 uses a single electrically driven metering unit while the TT 6500 is equipped with twin metering units, and the metering units on both machines allow application rates to be adjusted on the move. ISOBUS compatible, with or without Kuhn’s CCI 200 terminal, the TT uses a radar system to detect forward speed. The trailed hopper is fitted with large dimension flotation tyres as standard (600/55 – 26.5 on the TT 3500 and 710/50 – 30.5 on the TT 6500), and is also available in a twin-wheel format. Hydraulic brakes are included as standard. Fitted with a filtering sieve to protect the metering unit(s) from foreign objects, the TT’s seed hopper has a large loading opening and low-loading height for easy filling. Fitted with an operator access ladder and platform, a quick emptying hatch simplifies changing seed part-way through a load. The optional Vario seed blower makes the TT compatible with all tractors – even those with insufficient hydraulic capacity to drive the standard, pneumatically blown hopper.
