Compatible with a wide range of minimum tillage cultivators, Kuhn Farm Machinery’s SH 600 cover crop seeding unit can apply all types of seed or fertiliser at rates from 1 to 430kg/ha.
Equipped with the company’s Venta metering unit and with the option of 16, 20 or 24 outlets from the distribution head, the SH 600 (600-litre hopper) is designed for uniform seed spread across a 3m-9m working width. Seed is distributed via discharge plates located in front of the cultivator roller.
Developed to operate with the company’s Prolander, Performer, Optimer XL and Cultimer L 1000 minimum tillage and stubble cultivators, the company says it is sufficiently adaptable to work with other makes of machine.

Precise and simple application rate settings are achieved using Kuhn’s Quantron S2 control terminal, which aligns output with forward speed. The terminal also monitors seed level and controls fan speed and metering unit speed.
The SH 600 has big bag capacity, and is fitted with a ladder and walkway to allow safe and easy access when filling.
