The EL Biomulch is a shallow soil cultivator designed specifically to chop and incorporate cover crops, other plant residues and organic manures.
Currently available in a 3.0m working width, Kuhn Farm Machinery reckons it works well in combination with a front mounted shredder when working in tall and dense cover crops.
Designed to the same mechanical specification as the EL Cultitillers, the EL Biomulch works at up to 10km/hr and is suitable for tractors up to 160hp.
Adjustable rotor speeds allow it to adapt for different applications, and the rotor’s 72 angled blades operate within the top 3.0-5.0cm.
Depth is controlled by four adjustable wheels at the front of the machine. Adjustments can be made from either side and depth gauges are fitted to ensure the machine is set up correctly. A hydraulically adjustable hood is standard.
