The Krampe factory recently delivered the last of the 100 limited edition trailers to mark the 100th anniversary of the German manufacturer.
The 100 jubilee models were announced to mark the anniversary in October 2018. Comprising the Big Body 540, Big Body 750 and Halfpipe HP 20, all featured a distinctive black paint finish and a special safety package of LED tail and side lights, plus reflective strips on the sides and tailgate. The trailers also have exclusive markings and a distinctive type plate bearing the consecutive numbers one to 100. None of them came to the UK. Some of them are now in action in Denmark, Finland, Austria and the Czech Republic, but the majority are in Germany.
The last of the 100 models was sold to German contractor Philipp Domsch. Operating near Hamburg, his machine fleet comprises of three of the limited edition trailers alongside a number of earlier Big Body and earthmoving trailers.
The plaque shows the serial number of the last machine from a limited edition series that marked the 100 anniversary of Krampe.
A Krampe trailer user for more than 11 years, the contractor likes the sleek styling and the extra safety packages on the limited edition models. “And of course, we are very happy to have secured the last of the unique jubilee edition trailers,” he said.
