Kongskilde is here to stay and its new One Brand Strategy underlines its global ambitions to become the most attractive full-line provider of innovative solutions for the modern farming industry. These are the main messages contained in a press release issued on behalf of both Kongskilde Industries A/S and DLG – the parent organisation. As reported in earlier posts on this website, the One Brand Strategy will see factories, sales companies and administrative functions all streamlined, with a centralised distribution centre for spare and wear parts, and in the future, all agricultural machines and solutions from Kongskilde Industries will carry the Kongskilde name and red brand identity. Previous brand names like Howard, Nordsten, Överum, Becker, and JF will be marketed under one umbrella – Kongskilde. “The One Brand Strategy is our answer to future challenges and Kongskilde and its dealer network are here to stay,” says Lars Sørensen, DLG deputy group CEO, group CFO and chairman of the board in Kongskilde. “It shows our commitment to continue Kongskilde as a separate brand, and puts an end to recent press speculations.” Mr Sørensen adds the outcome of the ongoing process will be a stronger and profitable Kongskilde. “At a later stage, we will consider finding a new owner or partner to fully utilise the potential of Kongskilde without jeopardising the brand or the well-established network.” Kongskilde stresses the new strategy underlines its long-term dedication to build an independent and strong brand, and in the future customers will benefit from significant investments in new factories and strategic investments in innovative solutions. On the product front, we are promised lots of new ones. The company launched 10 last year and will add six more this year, with another 200 product upgrades and improvements in the pipeline. “The new strategy is the beginning of an exciting journey for all of us. It expresses our move towards a more visible brand creating solutions and products that improve the bottom line for our customers – the farmers and distributors,” says CEO of Kongskilde Industries Ole Gade (picture).
