Having launched the full-spec TrailBlazer Pro at LAMMA earlier this year, Knight has now added a simpler entry level version to its trailed sprayer line up.
The new addition features a 3,600-litre tank and the Lincolnshire firm’s 24m gull wing design with single-nozzle bodies with stainless steel spray lines. The spec sheet also includes a chemical induction hopper, clean water tank, PPE locker and hand wash facility.
On the control side of things, it is fitted with a Müller sourced Smart 430 terminal for all of the sprayer functions including the boom, hydraulics, automatic steering and application rate.
The sprayer has air-suspension with automatic height control and hillside correction via the steering axle. The £51,000 sprayer uses Knight’s MaxiMiser pressurised circulation system to prime the spray line prior to spraying and purges it with clean water afterwards. This is said to reduce the volume of liquid in the plumbing which is applied to the crop after cleaning.
