John Deere has teamed up with the Soucy Group to sell and distribute products through the John Deere dealer channel. On display at this week’s Farm Progress show is the first product – a rubber track option on all 1770NT and 1775NT planter models equipped with hydraulic or electric drive. Installed in under three hours, the newly-developed S-TECH 012P planter track kits are compatible with NT planters from 12 to 24 rows. It is also possible to remove the tracks and re-fit the wheels. “In wet field conditions, the planter tracks can improve seeding performance, help the planter maintain a uniform seeding depth, and minimise compaction,” says product manager Casey Dray of John Deere Planter Works. By Steven Vale
