The Danish fertiliser spreader maker says the spreading system on its new K105XE, K135XE and K165XE trailed spreaders is designed for precision lime spreading at widths up to 30m and granular fertilisers up to 48m.

Powered by a separate on-board hydraulic pump, and infinitely adjustable from the tractor via ISObus, the spreading discs are mounted on arms which hydraulically shifts them 1.5m to the side for a centre-to-centre disc distance of 6m. The company says the newly-developed precision spreading system minimises gaps and overlaps when working on awkward shapes and headlands.

The 40cm wide belts supplying material to the two spreading discs have a capacity of 3,000kg/min, and the spreading blades can be changed when switching from lime to granular fertilisers or when working with damp material. Available with hopper capacities from 9,000 to 19,500 litres, the new XE models will be launched at Agritechnica.
