Krone has developed an electro-hydraulic suspension control system for the pick-up on its ZX 430, 470 and 560 forage wagons and customers can now choose from more flotation tyre options.
Part of the standard spec, the suspension control system maintains a constant pressure on the pick-up in changing ground conditions, and is not only gentle on the land, says the company, but also increases comfort allowing operators to adjust the pick-up pressure from the cab.
New 30.5” tyre options for the tandem and tridem ZX 430, ZX 470 and ZX 560 models include 710/50 R 30.5 and 800/45 R30.5 sizes which feature a special lug tread whereas the tridem-axle ZX 470 version takes 26.5” tyres only.
Krone claims that the block tread pattern ensures good grip and roll even on extremely wet ground. Also, the larger footprint reduces the ground pressure and the large 1.51m diameter tyres are easier to pull.
