Paired with a 1,600 or 2,200-litre Partner front-mounted hopper, the Taro HD and SL are claimed as highly manoeuvrable 6.0m mounted disc drills that are ideal for small and irregularly shaped fields.
Designed for working at speeds from 10 to 20km/hr, the Taro 6HD (4.3t) requires a 200-250hp tractor and is equipped with a full-width 78cm diameter tyre packer and 36 PowerDisc seed coulters.
Spaced at 16.70cm, coulter pressure is adjustable from 5.0-150kg and the PowerDisc is claimed to guarantee optimum depth control, even in heavy conditions with a lot of clods. Seed quantity, depth and coulter pressure adjustment of is said to be simple.
Additional equipment options are available, but the standard configuration of the 3.0t heavy Taro 6SL is a RollFlex packer and third generation TurboDisc seed coulters (12.5cm and 15cm row spacings).

Options include a selective hose system for the two distributor towers and electric half-width shut-off of the front hopper. This allows row spacing to be changed at the touch of a button from 12.5cm to 25cm or 15cm to 30cm.
Claimed to be ideal for farms that carry out a mechanical weed control with harrow and hoe, the Taro 6SL can be used in combination with the Transformer VF. Both HD and SL versions fold to a transport width of 3.0m.
