The picture was snatched from a video and there is not much information, but Horsch is field testing a 24m autonomous drill prototype in Germany.
The only other details revealed in a Twitter post by Philipp Horsch are that the machine, which is known as the RO24G, will soon be on its way to Brazil where it will be put through its paces.
Horsch has never made a secret to the fact it is exploring a number of autonomous concepts. The RO24G differs to the pictures of the RO1 Roboter released last summer with a 24-row Maestro drill in that it is not connected to a robot tracked tractor, but hangs in a self-propelled portal frame, a bit like a gantry concept.
