French firm Agrisem will launch a range of Turbomulch straw harrows at Agritechnica. Described as a fast and low-cost solution to create a stale seed, stubble residues are mixed in the top 30mm by two rows of hydraulically adjustable cutting coulters.

A knife roller can also be added to chop OSR stubbles, which are then mixed by five rows of tines. The wheels each side of the machine are for stability and depth control, and the company says the parallelogram arrangement of the individual sections provides for good contour following.

The options list includes a rear hopper for cover crop establishment. Available in capacities of 1600, 2200 or 3200 litres, much of the technology comes from the company’s front hoppers. More details on Turbomulch working widths and tractor power requirement will be available at the show.
