Landquip will use LAMMA to launch a new large capacity sprayer range for the Forward Control Multidrive. Available in tank capacities of 4,000, 4,500 and 5,000 litres, the stainless steel tank provides an even weight distribution on each axle, while the tank’s narrow profile and cylindrical shape results in a low centre of gravity. Operated from the new 8.4″ touch screen, individual nozzle auto switching of 72 sections ensures minimal headland overlaps, and the current individual Seletron nozzle section selection is now supported by the twin or quad multi auto nozzle system. The operator simply programmes the ideal nozzles to achieve the required spray quality over a range of flow rates and forward speeds. Suitable for high volume fertiliser application of up to 1,500lit/ha, the system automatically switches from one jet to another for headland turns. By equipping the nozzle cluster with more than one Umbrella jet the auto nozzle-by-nozzle control selects the smaller jet when the pressure drops when slowing down at the headland, moving back to the larger jet once speed has been regained in the field. Chemical induction is carried out with a 50-litre capacity stainless steel chemical hopper equipped with twin can wash units. The hopper is automatically washed internally on closure of the side folding lid.
