Increased performance, reliability, visibility and driving comfort are all claimed for the Alpha Evo III. The changed design includes a new bonnet and decals, new LED lighting and grey wheel rims to match the chassis.
Available with 4,200 and 5,100-litre spray tanks and boom widths from 24m-39m, equally spreading the light weight between the front and rear axles is said to allow it to provide good performance even in wet fields.
Fitted as standard with a Cat IV cab, the optimised pneumatic FloatRide suspension provides 440mm of travel to improve comfort. Users now have the option to drive with the new foot pedal or the joystick, or a combination of both.
One of the most noticeable exterior updates is the side panel to protect the liquid systems. When opened, it provides access to the filter and remote control of both engine rpm and of the main pump. The TurboFiller, which is now hydraulically raised and lowered, is also located here.
The use of cylinders with embedded linear sensors for position detection is claimed to improve the accuracy of the hydraulic track front and rear width adjustment system, and the front and rear mudguards now turn with the wheels to help keep the machine cleaner.
The in-cab management is now integrated as an ISObus app in the HC display.
