Located next to the company’s self-propelled harvester factory at Rieste, Germany, the test track allows the company to intensively test potato and sugar beet harvester prototypes and pre-production units.
The 800m-long x 10m-wide test track also makes it much easier for initial commissioning of new self-propelled machines produced at the factory, which includes the Varitron and Ventor (potatoes) and Rexor and Maxtron (sugar beet).
The 800m-long test track is located next to motorway A1 and Grimme’s self-propelled harvester factory.
Circular tests can be carried out in the asphalt turning area while endurance tests are conducted on a 150m section that simulates a rough road. The test track will also be used for service technician and customer training.
