Dal-bo has been selling the trailed 6.0m and 8.3m Greeline roller since 2005, but it is only in the last couple of years the machine is gaining in popularity with UK farmers. The model on show, highlights the various build options such as scarifying paddles, levelling board and spring tines with a choice of Cambridge or prismatic roller rings or even a flat roll barrel.
Steve Atkin points out it is also takes about an hour to swap the Cambridge rings gangs for flat rolls allowing farmers to have a second use roller for about a third of the price of a second dedicated machine. And it is not just grassland where the Greenline can be used, on arable farmers it gives the option of establishing a cover crop.
Price wise a Greenline with levelling board, tines and 300-litre seeder will be in around £32,000 but this price can be reduced depending on options.
