Following last year’s AGCO acquisition of the Lely forage business, Massey Ferguson gave a working debut to former Lely round balers now in MF livery — namely the RB 4160V variable-chamber (Lely RP160V) and pictured RB2125FBR fixed-chamber (Lely RP245) machines.
These models are still available as Lely machines for now, but we’re told that this will stop next year. MF’s mowers, tedders and rakes (these are built at the former Fella factory in Feucht, Germany) were also on display at Grassland UK, and it is thought that these machines will incorporate elements of Lely mower/tedder/rake design technology in the future.
