The newly developed locking system is a big plus of the Rotaro PTO shafts available from Granit Parts.
The time‐saving device enables the shaft guard to be fitted and removed quickly during maintenance. Once the grease nipples for the universal joint on each side of the shaft have been removed, both lugs are pushed upwards with a flat‐headed screwdriver.
Available with different connections and clutch types, and in four different lengths: 710, 860, 1010 and 1210mm, the new ranges include shafts with friction disc, overrunning and radial pin clutches. Spare parts are also available.
Prices start from £176 for the entry level R10, which is designed for 21hp machines up to the larger R90 (540rpm/max. 129hp and 1000rpm/max. 199hp) which retails at £969.
